Transgressors, an all-Indigiqueer art exhibition and follow up to My Father's Father's Sister: Our Ancestor Shimkhin, rides on from Grand Ronde to Eugene’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History!

Inspired by ancestors and transfeminine healers like Shimkhin (Atfalati Kalapuya) and White Cindy (Klamath), Transgressors presents now and future ancestors who move beyond boundaries and limits, including a.c. ramírez de arellaño, Evan Benally Atwood, Geo Soctomah Neptune, Jeffrey Gibson, Lehuauakea, Qahir-beejee Peco, Roin Morigeau, Steph Littlebird, Walter Scott, and co-curators Anthony Hudson and Felix Furby.

Transgressors is touring Oregon through 2026 with support from Chachalu Museum and Cultural Center, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, New Expressive Works, the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation, and the Oregon Community Foundation.
