Am I Right, Ladies? A Totally Radical Feminist Showcase

  • Ford Food & Drink SE 11th Avenue & SE Division St Portland, OR 97202 (map)

Ladies, genderqueers, allies...we feel ya. Sometimes the world just keeps perpetuating the patriarchy, UGH! But instead of crying over a box of wine and roasting your Cosby Show DVD Box Set over an open fire, come by Ford Food & Drink for a totally radical evening of live stand up comedy and music by Portland's finest feminist allies.

Co-hosted this month by Jen Tam and Portland Mercury blogger Barbara Holm - who writes a column entitled "Don't Be a D*ck" - January's Am I Right, Ladies features live stand up sets from a diverse group of comics from all over the gender, race, and sexuality spectrum: Carla Rossi (Anthony Hudson), Katie Rose Leon, Kirsten Kuppenbender, Katie Nguyen, Iris Jean Gorman, Manuel Hall, and live music from Jai Milx (Tiny Knives)!

Am I Right, Ladies typically occurs every second Saturday of the month at Ford Food & Drink! For more information and/or a press kit, please contact co-producer Chris Khatami.

We are a show dedicated to providing a safe, non-violent space. We do not allow hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and other forms of bigotry against marginalized groups - you know, the language or actions of the oppressor! Fuck that shit! We just wanna have fun!

We are an ALL AGES SHOW, however the content may sometimes be "adult."
